This course is targeting policy makers who are interested in learning how urban metabolism can help them develop more comprehensive and system urban policies in order to meet the Paris Agreement targets.
The Spatial Microsimulation Urban Metabolism (SMUM) tool, developed by UNEP, is available as an open source software and facilitates the assessment of the impact of policies on resource flows and requirements in cities.
More detailed information about the different projects and activities can be accessed in the Cities Unit Gitlab hub.
